Before purchasing, please read the following: If you plan to use a Stronghold Master Collection weapon for LARP combat, ensure you apply a coat of Epic Armoury Maintenance Silicone or Protection Gel to safeguard the paint finish on the blade. Prolonged use, even with protective coating, may result in marks on the weapons, especially those with a darker tint.

Epic Armoury is proud to introduce the Stronghold Highborn Sword, an addition to the Stronghold line that exudes nobility, chivalry, and opulence. This 96 cm sword features a 65 cm fullered blade designed for lightness while maintaining structural integrity. Constructed from EVA foam around a fiberglass core and finished with impressive paintwork, this sword is as soft as any latex-coated weapon, yet even more durable in battle!

The blade's density may cause paint to rub off due to friction when it contacts another dry surface. To minimize this, we recommend coating the blade with a thin layer of silicone, reducing friction and stress on the paint.

The dark crossguard is embellished with filigree and a loop guard inspired by ivy and fleur-de-lis symbols. The handle is cast and painted to resemble wood, and an intricate scent stopper pommel completes this magnificent sword, making it a leader among our Stronghold Swords.

Fitting guide

  • This Stronghold Weapon is constructed for LARP combat
  • Epic Foam blades are lightweight and stab-proof
  • Handle is a polyurethane foam cast, giving it more realistic texture and details
  • Handle is very durable, will last longer than a normal latex equivelant
  • Made with a focus on safety in terms of blade hardness, which hits as hard as a latex weapon due to the foam density and core shape.

Maintenance

This Stronghold weapon’s handle does not require any special maintenance. Due to the density of the blade, there is a chance of paint being rubbed off due to the friction caused when the blade and another dry surface makes contact. To mitigate this, we advise you to coat the blade with a thin layer of Epic Armoury Maintenance silicone, which will reduce the friction and in turn stress on the paint. Store your weapon flat or on its pommel - NEVER on its tip. Keep your weapon in a cool, dry environment.
